      Pretty easy to use the laser. And the effective distance can be up to 60 meters, which is enough for my work. It helped me save a lot of time and workload. Based on its quality, this price is very nice.

      To start, the tape measure itself is very high quality. It seems to be accurate and reliable, and the locking mechanism works better and smoother than any tape measure I've ever owned. It also has an optional digital readout which is also accurate. I can pull the tape out and in over and over again and the digital readout will not lose accuracy. It also has a historical record, which if you have short memory like myself is definitely a plus!

      The laser is where the instructions are needed. If you only need distance measurements, this laser works great no instructions needed! If you want to use any of the more complicated functions however, instructions certainly help. It can measure a number of different shapes and automatically calculate the area/volume/side lengths which is very nice if you need that on the fly, but it can be a little difficult to understand the instructions. Once you do though, it is extremely intuitive and the interface makes it easy to understand what mode you are in. The furthest readout I got was 141ft, but as the item states it has an accurate range of 131ft.

      I also feel it is worth noting that this suffers from all the issues any other laser tape measure does:
      The angle of the device can wildly affect readings.
      It does not work well on reflective surfaces, as it will measure the distance of the reflection.
      It is a laser, making it inherently dangerous to your eyes. Use safely!
