The Almighty Ratchet Wrench™ Set 42 in 1

I got exactly what I paid for. I like the range of bits that come with it. This set would make a great gift too.

Easy to use and versatile

This thing is amazing. It has such a wide variety of very specialty bits, plus they have the most used normal bits as well. The way the ratcheting driver is made, you can take each individual piece of so that you can completely customize your wrench based on what your exact needs are at that moment. It seems very well made, I didn't notice anything to say otherwise, they definitely put a lot of thought into the design of the bit set and wrench. It's very easy to use, and my personal favorite, it comes with a spot to magnetize or de-magnetize everything. This thing is very much worth every penny, I'm so glad I have this around now, there are bits in here that you can almost never find, so I'm thrilled to have it for any random electronics repairs, or any other repair requiring a specialty bit. Or a regular #2 with a sweet ratcheting driver, cause this thing's got all of that!

My new favorite gadget

I can't help it - I LOVE this ratchet set! It r in my toolkit comes neatly organized in one tidy, compact case. The bits themselves are solid, high quality metal and are even color coded according to what type of application they're used for ( ie;Phillips, torque). The ratcheting feature is located perpendicularily, direction controlled by toggling a small lever in the center. It operates easily and the ratcheting motion is extremely smooth.I highly recommend!

This is one of those "great things come in a small package" moments. The Almighty Ratchet Wrench Set 42 in 1 comes in a nice box, held together with a magnet. It is easy to open, yet should not just pop open from most falls. I love the t-shaped screwdriver that comes with this set. I think it is clever that part of the "arms" of the screwdriver can be removed for tight spaces. Lots of great bits are included, everything is magnetic and fits together well. The bits and the screwdriver seem to be well made and feel like they can take some punishment. I have only used them on a couple of light projects so far, but I am certain this will be one of my go-to sets.

Great product

I ordered this set primarily for the extra torque I thought the handle could provide compared with a conventional screwdriver. It does that and also has several other clever features. You can attach bits to either end of the handle as well as the center and you can attach them directly to the center or use the short extender which can normally provide a more comfortable working distance. The magnetic bit holders have just the right strength. Another nice touch is the magnetic closure for the lid; when I first tried to open it I looked for some sort of lock before realizing that I could open and close the lid without a conventional latch that would eventually break.I do have two minor criticisms but they are not significant enough to lower my rating of this set. It would be nice if you could lock the ratchet; the choices are to ratchet clockwise and counter-clockwise with a center position that lets the attachment spin uselessly. Sometimes I want to work a screw back and forth and, with this set you need to either toggle the direction switch or forego the mechanical advantage of the center position of the handle. To be fair, this is how all of my old-school ratchet sets work, too. The other criticism is that they don’t supply a large enough slotted screwdriver attachment to tackle bigger screws. Fortunately, I can attach other bits I own to this set.

The storage box is attractive and stays shut with a strong magnetic draw between the lid and bottom of case. I appreciate that it is labeled on the top as to what is in this case since I end up with so many little tool kits and don't want to open everyone to see what's inside. The long bits are clipped in on the lid and stay put with a plastic latch for each. One clip showed up broken, so I have a loose bit in my box. It is a shame because it was perfect otherwise. The lower bits have some sort of clip in the bottom of the hole that engages the bit tightly to keep it in place once pressed all the way. This is an awesome idea because many sets like this repeatedly have the bits all come loose and make a jumbled mess inside every time you open to use.The bits seem like a good quality metal and work well for each different type of fastener I was able to try. There is a good selection of sizes to cover many of the daily things I need bits for. Each different type of short bit is color coded which makes working easier once you identify what type of fastener you are working with. The case is also labeled well with each bit marked on the case so you can keep order and find a size quicker. The ratchet handle is great. Not only does it seem to function well, it also gives you a lot of added torque with the "T" design making is much easier to use than a regular handled screwdriver. The handle ends come out of each side allowing you to use them as extensions for the mani bit or use them individually as a pen type driver you could use with your fingers. This could be beneficial in tight places. It is hard to get excited about a bit set as they seem like something so normal and plain but some of the designs of this one set it above the rest to me. The magnetic closure built into the case, the securing action in the bottom of each small bit's hole, and the versatile ratcheting handle really make this one a winner for me.

Best small screw driver ratchet I have purchased. I was looking for a small compact screwdriver ratchet set that had many different screw heads. Wow, did this met my needs. Its compact being only about 6"Lx3.5"w. Comes in a tough plastic case. On opening you find 42 different screwdriver heads ranging from flat blade to Philips head (both long and short blades) to various hex and star heads of varying sorts. The ratchet itself in in the shape of a T handle. It, along with each blade is made of a strong nicely finished metal that looks and feels like it will last. This appears and feels to be a very high quality set that will serve my needs for a very long time. I am very pleased with the looks, quality and contents of this set and would recommend it to others looking for a comprehensive set that comes in a small, well organized package.
